Junior Admin & Support

Temporary, up to 9 months

This role is for someone wanting to start out in a junior support and administration role. Your job will be to support and back up the Admin and Support manager who is going on maternity leave, along with our staff and customers.

  • E-mail and ticketing support
  • Phone support, account enquiries and general support
  • Staff job delegation and time management
  • Installation appointment setting
  • Monthly billing reconciliation
  • Documentation updating
  • Job card preparation work
  • Requires a reasonable understanding of how to use a computer
  • Must be a good human being and want to have fun

This is a temporary role. The contract is for up to 9 months, with the possibility to extend beyond into a permanent or part-time role.

Field Fibre Technician

Full time

We are looking for a fibre technician ninja. Ardent InfraCo wholesales and builds the fibre network on behalf of Diverse Networks Group, the owner of the asset and the carrier licence holder, from local loop to last mile, and that requires ground staff to help with our constant expansions, upgrades, repairs and maintenance work.

  • Must have an Open Cablers registration card with full fibre endorsements and lead-in endorsements
  • Must know how to use an optical splicing machine for SMOF
  • Must know how to work within joints with careful consideration
  • Must be willing to do short hauls under 300 metres per span
  • Must be willing to do lead-ins and the internal builds
  • Must know how to work with conduits and be able to saddle them
  • Be willing to upgrade their skill sets through vendor training
  • Know how to dress, prep and park a cable in an FTP or joint

Junior Labourer

Full time

As a junior labourer, your role will be to assist the field staff with general labouring duties. This role has pathways for upskilling and progression over time.

  • Help field staff with hauling fibre
  • Help field staff with installing services both externally and internally
  • General maintenance of equipment, including plant equipment
  • Know, or be willing to learn, how to use a drill and other forms of equipment used out in the field
  • General hand and assistance work

Junior I.T. Role

Full time

We are looking to fill a junior I.T. role. Ardent InfraCo wholesales and builds the fibre network on behalf of Diverse Networks Group, the owner of the asset and the carrier licence holder, from local loop to last mile, and that requires staff to assist the field crew with general I.T. support and work.

  • You must have a good understanding of basic computers and networking
  • Your role will require you to program up customer routers and Ardent edge routers
  • Your role will require you to provide technical support to our customers, both residential and business
  • Must have a good telephone manner and be patient with customers on the phone
  • Must have good writing skills to respond to helpdesk tickets
  • Must be willing to do the occasional after-hours work if required
  • Must have a driver’s licence
  • A good attitude is a must for this role

What happens after I submit my resume?

After we review your application we will be in touch if you are successful in progressing to an interview stage. We may not notify you if you are not.

Do you accept foreign workers?

At this stage we only accept applications from those who have a right to work in Australia and are able to validate their working visa. We currently do not provide any sponsorship programs.

Do you support work from home?

We have a partial work-from-home policy. Depending on the role we may allow working from home for up to 2 days, so long as it does not clash with your ability to do the job, or interfere with normal working operations.
